Creating a Character

To create a new character on this site you will need to submit a Character Form. 


1. Go to the "Roleplay Forum" and click on the folder marked "Character Forms".

2. Click on "Template", highlight the form, and copy it.

3. Navigate back to "Character Forms" and click the button marked "New Topic".

4. Put your characters name into the topic title, and paste the form into the post.

5. Fill out the details and submit!

Once your character has been accepted by Willow (with a little post saying Accepted beneath the form) you are ready to roleplay your new character!!! Also, don't forget to check out other people's character forms in the Accepted Characters section in the Roleplay Forum.

Tips for Character Forms:


Name:

- You could use a normal name, e.g. Oliver, Tessa, or a plant name, e.g. Blackberry, Daisy, Teasel, or  a made up one e.g. Tirleo, Mytyth .

Age:-  Easiest for everyone if you just pick an age and add ' squirrel years' but using the animal you chose.

Gender:- Speaks for itself.

Animal:- Your choice.

Group:- This is where you let everyone know if you are in The Fernwood Band, the Yaniviv, the Villagers or the Pirates

Rank:- Check out the 'Creatures of Pelatiah'  page for available ranks in the different groups. Feel free to invent your own ranks also (As long as they suit the theme)

Eye colour: Up to you

Fur colour: Any, probably not blue or pink though.

History:Just a little about your character and how they came to be in the group they're in, doesn't have to be long

Personality: Let everyone else know what your character is like



Adding Extra Characters and Signatures

To play more than one character, make another character form like you did at first, then add your new character's name to your signature, which is in "Edit Profile" on the sidebar on the Home page. It is a good idea to have all your character's names (and their group) on your signature, just to remind everyone who they're writing with. Also, once you have created an extra character, send their picture to Willow, so it can be added to the Creatures of Pelatiah page.



The Roleplay Forum (Playing Your Character)

Roleplaying is what this site is about, and it's very easy to do.

To continue an already begun story
1. Go into Roleplay Forum (or click the story you want to add to in Latest Posts on the Home page) 

2. Now you will see locations where a story can be roleplayed, e.g. The Village. Along from the title and description of the place are the number of Topics (which really means Stories) the number of posts and the last time they were updated. 

3. You can read all of the stories so far by clicking into a location and then clicking on a topic (which will be named; Dawn at the Ford or something like that) Have a look through and decide which story you would like to add to.

4. Once you have clicked on the topic you want, read through and think of something your character could add to the story. Enter it into your Post box at the bottom of the page and click Post Reply.

Beginning a story is just as easy
1. Pick a location
2. Click New Topic
3. Give the story a title
4. Type the story start into the Post box and submit. Then other people can add to it.The story doesn't have to stay in the location that it is entered in, that's just the place to start, for example, The Yaniviv could have a story that starts with planning in The Tower, but then later on in the same story they could go and attack Fernwood Forest. 

Rules when writing:

- Make sure you only roleplay your own character/s. You cannot make anyone's character do anything, only your own.

- Stay within the story theme, e.g. no helicopters or robots

-Be polite to other users

- Have fun roleplaying!!!!!
